Flybye, You need to build and sell these! Fantastic It's got everything I like, the green thing re-using materials, bikes ... you could retire and live on an island

    Thanks-
I've actually thought about making and selling them. Assembly required or assembled for a small fee. I am waiting to see if my client load (I am a Social Worker) increases in the next month. If it doesn't, I will hit the streets
I could really go for the green effect and strap an assembled one to my back and ride to the nearest city - 25 miles away

What would you guess that one of these would sell for retail? I think there is about $20 in materials and an hour or two of labor.

I'd pay $50 if I saw one at a craft fair or something. It would have to hold 4 bikes, though. If it held 6, I might pay $75 or less if it held less.

That's something I would see and think to myself "hmmm, I could build that myself for $20, or I could just skip the hassle and buy one!"

These are the racks I got installed at my office. This picture was taken the first day the racks were completed. No one had been notified that the racks were finished, but bikes magically appeared.
