are you stuck with the 5.2 when it arrives?? if no and you like the 5.0 and it fits you and you want it - then I'd go for it. But then - I'm an instant gratification kinda gal - I don't even go multiple places on the rare occasion I shop for shoes!
PS: have you tried calling Trek to confirm or deny the story?
