    Congrats!

    You finished! Woo hoo!

I have a similar first event this coming weekend (shorter run, just a 5k but the rest the same).... I don't think my times will be that different.

Did you have fun? It sounds like you did, but you didn't actually mention that anywhere
[Edit, yes, you did just say you had fun]

Anyway, congrats, now you are a triathlete!

Thanks! Kirkland. It's a "tri it" thing. You should go! I am doing it out of, ahem, peer pressure. Another TE friend is doing it. C'mon, it'll be fun!!!

I haven't swum since the Danskin, more than a year ago! I'd be a disaster!

Great Job. I am glad that it went well for you. You learn something every time you race. It will make it that much better the next time.

I got "lost in transition" once in each triathlon: bike to run in tri1, and swim to bike in tri2. In each case I had walked through what the transition would be like but failed to take into account coming from opposite directions in each transition. Hopefully, I'll remember this for next time.

    Good luck next week!
I'd rather be swimming...biking...running...and eating cheesecake...
