    Wow, Marcie, sounds like a great weekend of riding! Sorry you had to ride in the rain, but Im sure it felt good!
    Sounds like a tough ride with lots of hills (I'm NOT a mountain goat- or a hill goat), so I'm proud of you for maintaining such a high average with so much climbing!

    AA - I really don't feel too bad about asking him to fix it given I paid him/ the shop two weeks ago for the tune up. Since I picked my bike up from them I've had to return it once because it would not shift properly (it was shifting fine before i took it in for the check up). I'll have to take it back this week so the brakes can be adjusted again. Given I had paid them I did not feel too bad asking PITA to fix it today. After the next visit I think I'll find another shop/mechanic.

    Sorry we couldn't make it. It is best, we took SilverSon on a local 50k tour and he really struggled. He hates hot weather, so it was his first ride in about 2 months!

    Glad we didn't try OKHT. Maybe next year
