No doubt the Brooks are the most (to me one of the ONLY, great looking seats) and as soon as I figure out my measurements and what I need (if I go with the 7000) I'm gonna get me one!!! All the info here is INVALUABLE!thank you....
Meantime...any more suggestions about whether to take on the challenge of the 7000, (height off the ground, ouchy saddle) or stick with the pokey, comfortable safe Pure?am I leaning???????? (Jen's half awake Trek dealer gave me a wee nudge...)

I think Electra makes a 21 speed foot-forward bike. In fact, I think there is someone here on TE who does centuries on hers.

I tried the Electra first....the Treks seemed to fit my body better...
I am in LOVE with the Electra AMsterdam...but 3 speeds wouldn't do it for me in my shape in this neighborhood (Portland west side)!!

P.S. WHat do you think of the Brooks B67s? Wallbike is out of the B67 in honey and I MUST have honey..!!! I was thinking that might be a place to start or I'll look at the An Atomica as well.... If the cut out REALLY works...that could be awesome!

The big difference is the length of the nose. The "women's" B67-S (which stands for "short") has a shorter nose. I like long noses, and don't find the long nose catches on my skirts, so I prefer the normal B67. Both of my B67's are B67. (no "Short")

BUT! I just came back from a 7000 cruise and found an adjustment to my saddle that will work OK for now...I slide back and perch my sit bones on the back of the saddle with the nose tipped down a smidge and I was fine!!!! I am so happy I can keep the 7000...(is it a city bike? a hybrid, what?)
