It's actually Luvenox. Not sure why they gave me that rather than coumadin (which my grandmother, who had heart problems took for years), I but I am not going to change now. I have the entire 14-day Luvenox kit, and if I hadn't had Rx insurance, it would have been - are you ready for this - $1049! With Medco insurance, I paid around $50. So, I do plan to use it all in the interest of not being wasteful. The shots are really not bad. I'd given myself Lupron shots in the thighs for infertility years ago so knew the drill pretty well.

P.S. I am a Bike Journal member but log my miles against the Bike Friday club. Unfortunately, they don't let you do that for more than one club, and I started with BF before the Team Estrogen club started up. My miles won't be increasing too much for awhile, though. Don't think I can get away with wheelchair miles!
