Bike stand

same idea as DebW, only you use your non-drive side and hook on both the chain stay and seat stay ... I love mine -- use to hold bike and to wash bike and to do quick repairs when necessary. I especially like it to hold bike when washing it -- easy to take outside and carry back in!

I also have this one. Cheap, and works fine, for what it is (can see that if you were trying to do much mechanical work it wouldn't be enough, but fine for just a stand, or basic cleanings and small adjustments, etc.)
