hehehe, congrats and get some more tubes stat!!!

I did my first open water coaching swim today! I got the wetsuit on and off (er, off wasn't so graceful and involved me sitting my bottom down IN the water and the coach dragging me out to the water saying if I was going to take it off in the water I had to do it IN the water and not in the Very Shallow water) and went out to fairly deep water in the coaching session.

I went to pool swimming last night IN a bathing suit in front of PEOPLE! I was critiqued and coached and I was so nervous - I am not a swimmer. They were nice and patient and I wasn't as bad as I thought.

Celebrations indeed!!!

and next time I won't wait until 3 weeks before a tri to start swimming. I promise.
