    Thanks, Jen!

Ah...two wonderful books--The Kite Runner and The Secret Life of Bees! And an irresistably cheerful pair of white, yellow and blue daisy Coolmax socks and a colorful magnetic note pad---we USE those things, so thank you, BikingMomof3!!

PS Jen, check the link to the house remodel pics on OT:Australia.

    SS, are you out there?

I mailed my July/August SS package somewhere around August 15 & have not heard from my SS. Oh, I hope it hasn't gotten eaten by the postal service gremlins!

SS, if you have received my package, please let me know.

    Talking Thank you iFKA.....

Yesterday, I came home to a wonderful package from Croatia!

Two books, some very tasty cereal bars, a cute notebook, a seasoning packet, a really cool pen and some homemade bookmarks, one with TE logo and the other of my dogs! There were also some inspirational notes & quotes included in the books and bookmark.

Perfect timing, as I just finished my current book last night! Now I just have to choose which book to read first. I think I'm going to start with The Little Prince.

What a great package of gifts! Thank you so much, iFKA.

BTW ~ You were my SS in April 2006! Looking through your posts, I realized I never replied to your 'thank you' post, letting you know who I was.

    Dear SS,

Thank you so much for the ride journal! I will most definitely use it! I just received the package yesterday and I'm already halfway through the Koontz book you sent. It is soooo good....and the gum and energy bloks! You're awesome! Now just who are you on TE????

To my SS, I mailed it today so it should be there later this week!

    Thank you!

    To my SS,

I can't figure out who you are!!! Sorry about the belated posting, I hadn't mailed mine out yet and I wanted to wait to open what you sent until I sent my package out. Guilt...so to the recipient of mine, it is going next day and will be there tomorrow!!

SS, thank you so much! I can definitely use the Shot Bloks and the propel. As a matter of fact, I was/am having a shot blok shortage so it's perfect! And the books? They both look great!!! I'm going on a long plane trip tonight and I am taking one of them (haven't figure out which one yet but I think it'll be the cycling one) with me. It looks funny and I need the motivation right around now

Thank you again, whoever you are!

p.s. I love mysteries also, that was an excellent choice!

    Thank you Teigyr

Teigyr, I came home tonight after a bike ride that never ended. I lugged my girl up on the deck and there's a pkg. at my door. I thought, another pkg. for DH, he's always getting parts sent to him. But no, it was for ME. I threw my bike inside, well, not really. And rushed to open the box. Thank you so much..I can't wait to read the Taku book..that sounds very interesting. I flipped thru the Seattle book twice so far, it's amazing what time and modernization does to towns. The cherries were scrumptious. I popped one in my mouth and savored it with some coffee. Havent tried the covered pistachios yet. I will have to hide these treats from DH, he'll have them gone in no time. The note was sweet also. THANK YOU SO MUCH..loved everything..

THANK YOU F8TH637. I was busy outside (filling my bird feeders and baths) when my DH came out and told me I just got a VERY HEAVY PACKAGE from FE. WOW, I mean WOW. The Smithsonian BIRDS of NA is one beautiful book. DH said I definitely have my winter reading. I have already looked up my 'gotcha' birds, the chickadee and lesser goldfinch. The lesser has me intrigued these days because this summer I have been enjoying so many of the 'little guys' at my nyger bags. I am really looking forward to reading "Metal Cowboy" and may take it with me on my trip to Wyoming this weekend. I really should read 'birding basics' because I know very little about birds, I am really a classic 'backyard' birder. And Lance, I will save that for a day where I can pop a dvd in and enjoy. Thank you again. Your note was very personal and thank you again for taking the time to write it.

Hi Teigyr - I'm pretty sure I'm your SS! I wasn't sure who you were on TE as my SS PM only gave your real name and not your TE name! I'm sorry I was so late in getting it to you. I have no excuse as it sat in the box on my counter for much longer than it should have! I'm glad you liked it and I hope you enjoy the books.

Thanks! And BOY do I know how long boxes sit out at my house. I was busy trying to remove cat hair from the box I sent to my SS. I read the first book, Heft on Wheels, while on a trip to Syracuse. It was great and I had it finished by the time I got home The next one is for vacation, next week.

Thank you again SO much and now I can thank you in person, as it is.
