    Hi Ladies!
I haven't posting in awhile so I thought I would catch up first by saying thankyou Yellow for coming to see me and my friends in Park City. We had a great time visiting over lunch!! You are a delight!

My girlfriends and I had a great run in the Park City half marathon. The weather a perfect. It was a chilly 40+ degrees to start and than warmed up. What a beautiful course! It is a well groomed trail that has a slight increase in elevation over 7 miles and than a nice down (not hard on the knees at all). I did notice the increase in elevation from 4500 in my home town to 6400 in beautiful Park City but the scenery was well worth it.

I used the run as a training long run with a finish time of 2:10. We stopped and took pictures and enjoyed the company and views. I hope to have a faster time next Saturday in the Pocatello half marathon.

Here is the web sites for both runs for your future plans. They are both great runs.http://www.pcmarathon.com/ and http://www.pocatellomarathon.com/

It was great time with girlfriends, especially seeing Yellow !

Ran Saturday. It was NOT pretty. The heat was bad. Not horrendously high (mid 90s) but the humidity was killer. I don't know for sure, but I'd guess 80+%. Ugh. We ran 2.2 miles, interspersed with me going, 'ohmigodihavetostoporimgunnadieeeeeee'.

Today it feels a bit cooler, so depending if I can get away from my desk I may go for a run during lunchtime...

Shiraz, good luck on the Pocatello hm, I was up there a few years ago and that area is quite pretty! And to think, before then I never knew Idaho had skiing (or anything resembling things with elevation... we were down at City of Rocks and it was just amazing!)

I had open water swim practice this morning but decided to run this afternoon. I decided to add an extra mile (been doing right around 3 miles) because I haven't been increasing as I should.

So I went 4.4 miles and my average was 11.35/mile! Which everything considering...I'm happy! And I lived!

Come join me next year for the Pocky runs. If you are looking for a fast marathon, the Pocatello full starts at the top of Buckskin and is downhill for the first 13 miles and is very beautiful.

I posted a charity road bike ride held in Pocatello Sept 29th that really is a beautiful ride. Check it out!

Thanks for the good luck Kimmyt. I am sooo tired today I couldn't wait to get home. You made me laugh with your "omgihavetostoporimgoingtodie":D

I need to run tonight but not gunna!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
