All you need is love...la-dee-da-dee-da...all you need is love!
Wow... thank you every one... thank you espesh CC, for thinking of me. I really want to meet up with you one day!
I did have a great day
I took leave for the day and didn't go to work![]()
I surfed on TE for a while and caught up on a week and a bit of posting (obviously I was here before this thread was started).
I mooched about the house, did a bit of gardening, went for a bike ride with my partner, had a long hot bath by candlelight.
I had already received an early birthday pressie from the family (my Grammo Vipers for my TT bike)... however, I also received some CDs (latest Dixie Chicks, Melissa Etheridges "Skin", Sarah McLachlans " The Freedom Sessions" and an album of Pete Townsend's). I also got two DVDs - "O Brother Where Art Thou" and "Raising Arizona". AND... I got one chocolate in each gift from my children.
Also book on the Hawkes Bay earthquake, a very pretty shell and silver bracelet, a beautiful frame filled with Northland shells to go an a wall and my mother has made me a book of photos, school stories, letters and poems I had written... 100 pages produced on the PC.
My eldest son made me a most delish and moist banana cake and iced it like a wheel with a hub and spokes and everything! Very cool.
Yes Mr Silver, the days are getting warmer, but the snow on the ranges keeps the wind cool.
Thanks for singing, Kiwi (I teach this to my students) and BMCCA (Ewe... veeeerrrry funeee)
SheFly - how'd you know?We had a good tail wind for part of the ride!
Unfortunately, no pie, Trek... sorry...
I did indulge in a little bit of icecream, Skierchickie, but it was neopolitan, not hokey pokey, Margo. My uncle who moved to Oz really used to miss Hokey pokey when he first arrived there and it was the first thing he asked for when he used to come home for visits!
Well, thank you again all. Work has been a bit shi**y this week, so this thread is a delightful way to end the week after a good race earlier today.
