It was beautiful here in Maryland today.
DH and I joined about 20 others on the N2 ride this morning.
In my rush to get out of the house (we were running late, as usual ), I forgot my Garmin on the computer desk. So, I had no metrics for my first "fast" ride on my new Seven ID8. I was distraught!
And....the group was insanely fast today for some reason. Thank goodness for traffic lights and re-group points, or I don't think I would have seen anyone all day. As it was, I barely had time to catch my breath again at those points, before they were off again.
A challenging ride, to say the least. My excuse: New ride, new riding position, so I'm using new muscles!
Best guesstimate, based on DH's computer (adding 10 minutes for how far ahead he was on me): 39.5 miles at a bit over 17 mph. Geez, it felt faster!
