I have a 2006 Trek 2100 that I paid $1100 for brand new. (on sale at end of season last year)
I would offer lower. I could probably only get around $900 for mine and it is less than a year old. What are the components? Carbon fork?
Offer around $550 and see what happens.
By the way I love my 2100, nice ride and comfy.
