I'm still using spd-pedals and my old mtb shoes, but then I haven't that many miles on my road bike yet... I was told that road shoes were stiffer and would spread the load better, meaning less numb feet, but I'll fix that problem when and if it turns up.Winter riding is much less about badassery and much more about bundle-uppery. - malkin
