Pretty much the same as my experience. I get a song stuck in my head and it plays like a loop in my head while I sing along--as loud or soft as I want to. Currently, it's Neil Young's "Long May You Run" on the flats: "With your chrome heart shining/In the sun/Long may you run." On descents, I hum along to the Wicked Witch's theme from The Wizard of Oz. On uphills, it varies.

BUT, I only do this when I'm riding alone.
