Beth, glad to hear the box made its way safely to your house. I hope you have not read Mile From Nowhere. It is an easy read and very entertaining. Sorry the Blue Monday melted and I hope the cool temps in the fridge bring it back to an edible form. Happy reading!

THANK YOU Laura! Your package arrived safe and sound today and brought an immediate smile to my tired face. I'm looking forward to reading the books for I love to laugh. I love the slugs so no apologizes needed. I'm looking forward to enjoying them in class when I teach my unit on food chains. The postcards are beautiful and only make me want to visit your neck of the woods even more. Thanks again!

Thank you!! My presents arrived this morning. On my birthday no less! Perfect timing. I now have a good book to read and yummy chocolate to eat on my flight home to Norway. And inspirational knitting yarn to make plans for.

And to my secret sister who is so patiently waiting....I hope to get it all put together and in the mail tomorrow.....

To my SS - hang in there as well! I have most of the things I want to send, but still have to fill in a bit. Jeannierides & I (along with help from KayTee) went SS shopping last Friday - what fun that was!

I will get it all boxed and in the mail soon!

    Mine went out yesterday.
A book of aerial photographs (from a helicopter so some are quite intimate).
My theory was if the pics are from high up and/or close up you can't see the mess the politicians are making of the place!

I have been waiting for the temperature to get a bit lower before I mail mine out. Maybe I should just eat the chocolate and get the package mailed?

    OoooH!
My ss - the one and only mimitabby - has sent 2 novels (one historical and one contemporary) set where she lives.
And a little watercolour painting (of a single flower in lovely woman-art shades and signed mimi '07) which I shall frame.

A wonderful surprise was at my doorstep all the way from NJ yesterday!! It was like Christmas in August with all the fun stuff in there. I was excited to recieve 2 books. Both look like great reads so I started reading both of them last night. But not to worry, I was able to mark my pages with magnetic book marks! There were some goodies for the road, mini notebooks and coffee in there!

Thank you so much, my SS from NJ!!!!
