    Hey! You jumped in with both feet, huh? Or maybe it was a foot and a half... CONGRATULATIONS!!!

    I think getting fit by 40 is a really great goal. I am 39 and feeling similarly.

    Congrats on the weight loss so far and congrats on your beautiful new bike! My bike shop also told me to bring back my new baby for a "break-in" tune-up after the first 65 miles or so.

    Have fun riding!!! (and may you have no more bloody elbows! )

    I'm glad you didn't "wait" for 65 pounds, because it will be a lot more fun losing weight ON a bike!
