Bought the bike in May 06, rode heavy that summer with group rides (average 14-15mph/average ride 20-30 miles). Moved to a new town in October 06, didn't ride group rides as they are either too slow or way too fast for me. Stopped riding in around November(discovered I had gallstones & required surgery + troubles after surgery). Started back up last month, on my own & going slowly (8-12 miles every other day or so). Plan on going to the slower group rides starting this Monday.

So, not brand spanking new, but new enough to know I can/want to get better

Thanks for posting this. I did not know about the camp, it looks great and I just signed up. I was considering doing the same ride, but this looks like more fun.
