I have occasionally gotten myself up that early too for my workouts. You ride with the spirits that early in the morning! I feel very inspired at that time...
let that good energy carry you through the day!

Nothing better!
All winter I went to 5:15 am spinning, so rolling out of the garage on my bike instead of driving into town was a natural. I'm very pleased that I developed that habit.
It's pretty dark that early already, so now I'm limited by my husband's schedule. Not that I want my girlies to grow up any faster, but being able to leave them for an hour will be a big help--maybe next summer.
I love the cool still air and the solitude. Mommies don't get much solitude.
Good for you! I desperately HATE mornings, so I'm not likely to ride that early. DH suggested that "if he didn't have to be to work by 10, he'd sure be out in the morning for a ride" but I pointed out that traffic is pretty evil during the time of morning that I COULD be out, and he agreed that he really would prefer I didn't ride during drive time. He's more nervous about me being out in traffic than I am I think! Apparently, he's invincible, but I'm not, and so I must be more careful than he is!
(oooh the lecture I got the day I rode my bike to the LBS for an adjustment! I gotta admit, though, there were some mighty scary areas I had to ride on that trip!)
