    I sympathize with you ladies!

I've had very low grumpy achey energy since Sunday. I might have overdone it with the ashtanga (should be spelled torture) yoga class on Saturday....made my hamstrings and shoulders ache, but I don't think that's what caused the things in my throat to swell up.

Saw a doc, brought stuff to a lab and they took blood. maybe they'll figure out that it is something and give me drugs.

Today was an all-out stressor of a day at work. I rode to work and home (less than 20minute round trip), which was very nice, but it didn't shed the work-yuks. So I did my home version of nicey-nice yoga and lo-and-behold, that sure helped a lot! I got a good 2 hours of feeling like a normal human with some after work energy before I started to drop off.

what am I trying to say? it sucks to be sick. a lot or a little. but I do think that your favourite exercise, in small, steady doses, is really really helpful. Those endorphins really increase the happy bits in your brain!!

    now...back to those stressful things

    namaste,

    Thanks, LBTC

Feeling better today. Hope Doc is, too. Tomorrow I hope to do an easy 15 mile ride with a friendly local group. Hoping Saturday to do my normal 35 if all is well. I just hated missing a whole week of riding in this beautiful weather we've got right now. It gets hot and humid early in Alabama!

    Thanks she who

I'm slowly getting there too. Glad to hear you're getting better. Enjoy the beautiful outdoors this weekend. Whether it's 35 miles or another easy one to get back into things, it will feel great.

    Finally!

After a WHOLE WEEK off the bike, which drove me nuts, I at least got out this afternoon for a 15-mile solo ride around the 'hood. Thank goodness! Doc, hope you are all better and out and about. Thanks, everyone, for helping me thru my pity party!
