Great pictures, Tasha. It was brutal out there on Saturday and that would be enough to make me lose my appetite. You are right; those hills between Truro and P town are nothing compared to the hills around here that you have been riding. I found that that is what helped me finish my century. I.E., if I could climb hills with 18% grades, I could do a flattish century with very little training other than my normal riding.
Congratulations! I am not sure that I could do it....

PS. Was that a PMC kippah I noticed in one of the pictures?
Heh, well actually it was a Live Strong yamulke! I did not get a chance to talk to the man wearing it but thought it was most excellent. Actually my husband noticed it and pointed it out!
Thanks for the kind words. Despite my appetite problems, I had a great ride!
Really nice narrative ! Congratulations with finishing your rides with that darn fussy stomach. Not a nice way to start and continue to have to fight against low energy levels, and then not sleeping well. You can put in the miles, put in the hills but ya never know how you're gonna feel the day you wake up. Not sure how you can assess the stomach thing - maybe the heat. I went out that day attempting a solo metric century but only did 44 miles because my stomach acted up over the heat. Like you, I feel I did everything right and I typically do well in heat so it took me by surprise.
Despite you riding 160 something miles on like, 2000 calories, your account of the experience read very positive.
