I did the shop ride this a.m.
DH is sick with tonsilitis, so he stayed home.
Mike - LBS owner - put his foot down on the hammerfest that the ride had become - he really wants to stress that this is a social ride - meant to encourage comraderie, teach group riding skills, and be a generally fun ride. Consequently, he did away with the "A" ride. So...the "B" ride is now the "A" ride, and the "C" ride is now the "B" ride. Got it?
So, I rode with my "C", er, "B" peeps. It was generally a great ride, but we had no leader and had some dissenting views on which route to take. So a few, um, discussions at various traffic lights, soon put us on a good track.
So, I got 30.7 miles in on this hot and sticky day at 17.7 mph.

We rode 10.5 miles of steep hills today. The ride went well but we didn't have much of a shoulder to ride on and some rednecks gave us a hard time.
I'm thinking of putting in a really early ride tomorrow because our temps are going to be 100 F and above by Wednesday.
