My commute is 7.5 miles each way (it will be 10 soon, construction). I think the it is perfect as it is the length where time saved driving starts to become mute. My husband commutes once a week doing 30 each way. After meeting me at work, he was amazed at how convenient my commute really is and now motivates me on the days I have trouble getting out of bed. He is very jealous.
