Single was great! I did single for 34 years.
Married is great too, not better and not worse.
The key for me was finding another bike ride-aholic who's stable is as large as mine. He never complains about my buying bike stuff and I don't complain about his either. Actually, right now he really wants to get me to get a Blur (!) which I will when we can afford it. Life is good.
And I still get to see lycra butts everytime I go out (my DH still has the best, oh what riding does for one's posterior) and he's not jealous so I don't worry about socializing with other dudes when I'm riding, either.
It's the baby boy that's changed the where and when I ride. I wouldn't trade him for all the rides in the world (but I can't wait til he can mountain bike with me).
Life is good.
