Thanks. I've now had enough time since the event to lighten up on myself and appreciate what I have accomplished. Yeah, it hasn't been very long since I could even swim 300m. I definitely learned that competition is not quite like a practice session, a good thing to know.

Now, I've got my eyes on the Iron Girl Triathlon on August 19. I've got my first open water swim tomorrow, doing the actual tri swim route. Again, I'm only just at the point where I can swim the 1000m distance in the pool. It will definitely be an experience!
