Honestly, I took my iBook to the Apple store, but they'd never seen that happen before. I have discolored the steering wheels of my cars, too. Maybe I'm a mutant with special powers. That's it, I'm "Caustic Sweat Girl"!
Huh. My white macbook has gotten uncleanably dirty spots where I rest the heels of my hands when I type (& I swear I type clean!). If you find a good way to clean this let me know cause it makes me a little crazy.

As to the washing question -- I don't give ANY of my athletic clothes, running, swimsuits, biking or otherwise, special treatment. They all go in the machine on warm/regular, and I throw them in the dryer regular. I haven't had a problem with this. Yes I'm lazy.

(Well, my castelli jerseys actually get **slightly** special treatment, they go in cool in the washer and delicate in the dryer. But it's only because of the strange cyborg fabric that is a different color on the back than it is on the face, and it makes me feel like I should obey the washing instructions. But that's all, everything else goes in with whatever else I'm washing).

Hey you guys with the worn/holey Ultra-D shorts.... Are your legs/thighs perhaps rubbing against the edge of your saddles while you pedal? Perhaps that is the problem?
Mine don't rub anywhere on the edges of my Brooks saddle while I ride.

Yea! I called Shebeest and think they will replace the shorts.

Lisa, my thighs hitting my saddle are the reason for the hole in my shorts. My other shorts with several years of riding never developed a hole. My butterfly saddle is new this season and might be causing more thigh rub than my old liberator.

Watch those seatbags too ladies. I changed saddles and my seatbag sits differently and I found the velcro on the seat tube was rubbing and abrading my shorts. I had good luck with shorts until then. I also don't think my new Shebeest shorts are holding up as well as my old ones and I baby them.
