    Summer cycling tanks

    To disable ads, please log-in.

So, when the temps top 80, I prefer a tank over a shortsleeve, or even sleeveless, jersey. I have a few of the Sugoi Fizz tank, which I like, but I'm looking for something with more pockets (and in pink if possible).

Has anyone tried the Descente Harmony tank:

(TE has the print version. Unfortunately I think this season's prints are hideous, but TE -- as usual-- has better pictures than most other sites, so here it is: http://www.teamestrogen.com/images/p...7-PFAZ_xlg.jpg ... this looks like a dixie cup to me).

I'm also looking at the Terry Presta Tank:

And, though I'm not comfortable with the team logo thing, this tank looks appealing in every other way:

Anyone have experience with any of these, or suggestions for other tanks? Criteria are as follows: must have built-in shelf bra (no padding!), must have more than one, open (non-zip) pocket, should be as cool as possible and hopefully cute. Oh, and I really don't like flashing my belly on the bike, so I need something with a little length in the torso (I guess mine is longer than average). So, even though the fabric is so nice and cool, that Shebeest mesh tank is out. (I have two already anyway).

    Thanks!!!!

It's only got one zippered pocket but it is pink! I like mine very much. The length is pretty reasonable also. The shelf bra is more supportive than others that I've tried.

OMG, look at the hamstrings on the chickie at the bottom of the page! Sigh... if that tank would give me those hamstrings, I'd be all over it!

But I'm not a fan of pink.... if anyone finds one of these Descente tanks in solid black, let me know, ok?

    I like the Terry Clincher:

While the shelf-bra comes with two little support pads, those come right out (the ones from mine are currently sitting on the corner of the desk in my bedroom, because I keep forgetting to throw them away). I also have a proportionally longer torso, and have never had a problem with this tank riding up on me.

    Good luck with your search!

(ETA: Oops...not in pink. I missed that part of your post. Yeah...I'm an inattentive dork.)
