I ordered a pair of Ultra Ds from TE and, after about 40 miles, the fabric was wearing thin in two places. I noticed that the chamois was unevenly sewn into the shorts, so maybe that caused the problem. TE replaced the shorts. On my second pair of Ultra Ds, the rubbery material they use for the SheBeest logo came off. TE said they would replace the shorts if it was manufacturing defect, and issue a credit, but they didn't want me to get another pair of the SBs since I had issues with the shorts. Unfortunately for me, the Ultra Ds have the most comfortable chamois. So, I didn't send them back to TE even though the missing logo stuff makes the shorts look bad and poorly made (which, arguably, they are). I decided I wanted the comfortable chamois more than anything, but I was very disappointed that I spent so much money and was not completely satisfied.

I have tried the Terry Bellas. The chamois is very similar to the SBs, but slightly thinner. I like them a lot. And, they are much cheaper than the Ultra Ds. I still prefer the slightly thicker chamois of the SBs for longer rides, though.

My friend used the Ultra Ds for one day of the MS 150 and got a hole in her shorts, too. She'll be sending them back to TE.
