I think the beautiful pink of the Chris King Pretty and Strong headset and hubs ... you really can't see the hubs in this picture, but I couldn't get any other pics to upload... sets the green off nicely, don't you?

Aaannnddd... drumroll please...I was able to ride 35 minutes with it on my trainer yesterday. Progress, girls, progress.

Oh, and the red tape on the seat post is so I can exchange saddles easily and not have to re-figure the height.

Gorgeous! I'm not a big fan of pink, but I love this color combination--that great green with the little touches of pink to accent it. Hope you two have lots of fun together.

Congratulations on doing 35 min on the trainer. Yes, it is progress, after all you have been through. I think your bike is so pretty....

Yea, Jeannie, your bike is really chic. I agree with the wonderful pink splashes. Riding 35 minutes on a trainer should count as double time in my book.

She's gorgeous, Jeannie! But I think we need to look for some PINK tape for the seat post...

Now.....does she have a name yet? (Godiva wanted me to ask )

Thanks everyone! Hi Jane! No, I'm not too good at the name game. Her *real* color name is Chameleon Metallic, and she's a Gunnar Sport. I'll consider all suggestions.
As for the tape ... it'll be coming off when she goes outside for her first ride... just have to decide on saddle. Is pink tape available, ya think?

She's beeyoooteeful! Trainer miles count double you know, so that's quite the feat. With a bike that gorgeous you'll be even more motivated to get out and ride.

I think the rirst ride should be to the hospital to thumb your nose at the Doc who said you couldn't Neenerneenerneener.

How about naming her Karma Chameleon after the old Boy George song? - Karma for short. It would be good karma! (or Green Karma?)
