You know, I'm not certain yet. Mr. East Hill is doing the route planning--I'm just along for the 'ride' so to speak. I think the mountain bike is going to be my choice of ride, because I think we will be hitting mostly back roads/fire trails. I will be taking the laptop along and should be able to get some wireless action in at least a few of the places we plan to hit, so I'll let you know by PM if we do swing by Spokane.

Where would be a good ride there?

Sounds like a possibility!!! DH is taking a velodrome class that day and it starts at 1pm. I was going to ride to Marymoor to meet him. I could ride with you all and then drive to Marymoor!!!! Have kind of been slacking with the riding lately, at least it feels that way. I might struggle a bit but I'm game

I'd love to, but I'm still off the bike. I'm planning on trying to do a couple of short/easy/lazy rides this week, but I don't think doing 50-60 miles would be a very good idea for me/my knee just yet. (I'm trying really, really hard to let my knee heal this time and not jump back into pushing too hard too soon, as is my usual tendency.)

    Flaming Guyser ride 8/12

Is the ride to Flaming Gyser still on? Stellar1 here. I'm new to TE and have not ridden with you yet, but would like to. I'm getting ready for the RSVP and have been riding out in the Black Diamond/Maple Valley area. It's very pretty and of course, the Black Diamond Bakery is my very favorite stop. I live in Renton.

p.s. I'm not a very fast rider, but steady.
