It looks like the bars are as high as they will go, with that stem but you can get one that angles up more. It may be good to go to the dealer, and let them help figure out what you need. Also, I think you can remove the toeclips (the old ones used to attach to the pedal with screws, and the strap just pulls out), but then you'd just be left with platforms. Clipless are great, once you get the hang of it, but it's one of those preference things.
