    IM USA: Event report

Ok, I've written the first two installments in my blog (1 to go)...

    http://www.crankynstinky.com/blog/in...-Pre-race.html

    http://www.crankynstinky.com/blog/in...ay-part-2.html

In my next rambling, I'll add some course (particularly bike) comments and a few questions/negatives I see around the IM. And the pictures. Sorry, but it's late again and I'd rather do a good job writing than quick redaction...

    TIA,
    Tasha

Thanks for posting those, the last bit of the 2nd one made me get a bit teary! Looking forward to seeing pics, and really wish we'd gotten a chance to make our way into Lake Placid proper to feel a bit of the vibe...

    Thank YOU!

Very cool TG! And as an Ironman athlete who depends on the kindness of the folks who volunteer and keep us safe, THANK YOU! We wouldn't make it without you. I personally had a couple of friends on that course that day, so thanks for being out there for them.
And glad you got to soak in the Ironman vibe. I've said it before, but there is nothing like the feeling around and Ironman event. It's electric!
I hear that's really the case at IMLP. Myabe someday I'll get to experience it for myself.
    Thanks again!

I haven't cleaned up the photos for descriptions blurries etc. but you can definitely get the feel of the event!
