If you haven't seen your replay of today's stage, be sure to look for the guy in the thong at about the 3-miles-to-go point. And the giant chicken not much later.

    Here's the penis. http://www.versus.com/tdf/article/ca...=true&ss=video

4th one down. It's right at the start of the video, maybe 10 seconds in. On the left side of the screen.

Saw the thong - almost - wasn't much, was it?

Saw the weird thing you say was a chicken, Tuckerville...

Completely missed the penis... think I am glad I did!!!

Thong guy was really booking it.

The Chicken was a hoot and unfortunately, I saw the penis.

Did anyone see the guy with the elk horns? It was HUGE!

    Chickenman

When Will and I saw the chicken, we both launched into "Chickennnnnnn mannnnnn...."

If you have XM radio, you can hear Chickenman episodes on 151. They're leftover comedy skits from the 60s. They're not that funny anymore because they have dated material that 13 yo boys don't quite get. But they're still a blast from my Chicago past.

LOL, if you missed the live show when the g-string dude popped up on the right side of the screen, phil said, "now there's a fit athelete there..." I am so glad I had DVR so I got to rewind to enjoy the laugh again.

The chicken man was quite funny too.

Today there were two guys in Boygues Telecom jerseys who ran along the right side of the road and mooned the camera....

I missed that commentary! Maybe I was too busy looking. lol.

Today I was struck by how much they used the word "boy" to describe all the riders. "He's a tough boy." "For a boy so,..." crazy. I can't tell if it's fatherly, patronizing, European, or gay. lol.

I tend to think of 'em as boys too, but maybe even more often as "kids" -- maybe cuz I'm old enough to be most of their moms?
