    Wow... what a stage...

    Gutted for Vino... that little wave he gave the camera to say go away, let me suffer this on my own...

    And I felt as if I had been gutted as I watched the last climb... how does one attck like that - over and over and over again on a mountain?

    I can't even begin to comprehend how much those boys must have hurt - what a fantastic day for Contador... to win as you come to the top and know you can see your own country... what a race... gut-busting, unpredictable, exciting...

    I am REALLY enjoying the Tour!!!

    Speaking of gutted... just read Julian Dean's journal entry for that Stage 11 where he fell at the last corner just a few humdered metres from the arrivee. He was out on his own (Thor being way behind) so he had the chance of going for , as he put it "just me, myself and I". Reckoned he could have made the podium.
