    Actually after 10+ years of riding in road shoes, I am packing it in and switching to mtn bike shoes. They're easier to walk in and not quite as slippery.

    The only advice I can give is if you have road shoes with no tread (my current road shoes with Looks have a bit of tread on the toe and the heel so it makes it easier) be Very Careful!!!

    Scary stuff there and yes, I have done the girly bit seeing stars thing before
