    Utility cycling (commutes, errands, shopping) is my favorite! Yes, it is just as addictive to the utility types as brevets are to the multi-century types and time trials are to the speedy types!

    Riding 4 miles to the post office is as much a thrill to me as riding a 60 miler around Seattle's bike trails.

    Do they have Flexcar where you work? I ride to work every day and if I need a car during the day, I just borrow a Flexcar for a few hours. I did this last week and got to drive around in a Miata with the top down on a beautiful day. Awesome.
