OOh, I am glad you like her. This is my $100 ebay frame that fits me better than my $2000 titanium/carbon bike...... The history is I found the frame, never been built, reynolds 853 steel, on ebay (a 2003) for $100. The catch was she had no fork and you couldn't buy a fork to fit a 24" front wheel. So, I sent her to a frame builder, and he built me a fork, installed s/s couplers, canti bosses and rack mounts for touring, and did the silver paint to fade into the original blue to keep costs down. He modified the geometry slightly in the fork design to make her more stable for touring and customize the fit (she was originally more of a go fast sport bike). I can do go fast rides on her with skinny tires, or tour with fat ones. Then I took the new parts I recently bought my old rusting terry classic and transferred them to her, and retired the classic. Even though she is supposed to be my 'travel' bike she is actually my favorite bike.

My Brooks B68 was immediately comfortable -- I am in love with it.

(Yes, this is the 3rd time today I've posted a pic of my bike on TE -- I just got it back from the shop, slapped on the B68, and took it for a spin. I do believe it is the most awesome bike ever!!!)

Jacky, that's GREAT!!! The honey Brooks looks beautiful against your blue bike.
Do expect to possibly have sore sitbones for a few days though- it's normal- your butt will break in after a few rides, a week or two maybe.

Only day 2, but so far so good with no sore butt. Perhaps due to my natural built-in cushioning?

I did a bunch of stuff to my bike, and took some pics when I was done. Since I had the camera out anyway, I thought I'd grab some snaps of my Brooks Finesse while I was at it...then I revisited this thread and noticed that the pics of Lola and her Finesse aren't showing up now. (*sigh* and I can't remember from where I had linked them)

Anyway, here's my Lola and her Brooks Finesse...
