Yeah, the Blue brand is not in the ProTour, but it is a high-quality bike. I've heard it's comparable to much more expensive bikes but is cheaper just because it's not so well known. I just fell in love with the looks, and when I saw a used frameset on Ebay, I just had to have it! I'm sure it deserves to have Dura Ace on it, but I just had it built with what I can afford for now. As my skills improve and time goes by, I'm sure there will be some upgrading in its future.
Here's a slightly better picture with the pedals and bottle cages on now. Still raining!!! Grrrr...

Gor-juss!
“Hey, clearly failure doesn’t deter me!”
Nice build!
The 105 should serve you nicely for a while.
Enjoy the ride.
And, I can never look at a Steinway (okay...a picture of one!) without thinking of the movie, The Pink Panther (...not sure which one). Inspector Clouseau trashed one, and a woman remarks in distress "But that's a priceless Steinway.""Not anymore," he deadpans.

Beautiful Bike and Lots of Luck with it!!!!
If you are ever riding down the Westside HWY on a week day at about a 1:00let me know. I take my lunch hour around Pier 40 and sit and watch the cyclists go by.
I think you will be safe if you get out early today. As usual the rain is suppose to roll in at the time I leave and and get home. I think the weekend is looking up so hopefully you can get in some nice rides then also.

Hi all... So I did take it out yesterday and this morning. This is my first time riding a drop-bar and also the first time on clipless pedals. Lastnight I was a bit uncomfortable, but then I made some adjustments and this morning was much better. I think the bike is going to be a great fit! It handles marvelously!
On a sadder note, I had my first dumb clipless tip over incident this morning. It was actually when I was starting up again after being stopped. I guess I didn't get enough momentum, and for some reason just tipped over on my right side. Luckily only a minor scrape on my elbow and nothing happened to the bike! Phew! I hope that doesn't happen too often. I felt like an idiot! A passerby asked, "How did that even HAPPEN???"![]()
Your lady blue looks like a winner. Have fun whizzing around on your new bike. The steinway may be a bit jealous, but I'm sure she will adjust.
Congrats rij!
Very purty in blue, and no worries about your clip-spill... just seals your partnership with each other!
Glad you finally got out after all that rain and so pleased to hear the bike is a great fit!
Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
"I will try again tomorrow".
It looks so......speedy! What a pretty bike. Have you taken her outside yet on the maiden voyage?
