Haven't seen Bluetree post in a while?

And Yoda/Wahine, I guess you are busy training.

    Unhappy

I'm definitely a little time poor so not much posting. 100 mile ride and 13 mile run this weekend, plus guests in the new house etc.

As for Blue, I've been PMing her a bit. She's riding a lot but has not been able to run really. So I think she might be lurking but not posting because her tri season sort of fell apart.

I want her to come back to TE but she's hiding. Maybe we can convince her.

    COME BACK BLUE!!

Maybe we can entice her by getting her to post pictures of her new bike. It's super sexy.

I wondered where BlueTree was as well. I thought I had just missed reading her posts or something.

BT if you are reading this... staying involved with people in the tri community will get you through this rough time. I had to sit out 06, but I kept involved, knowing that my running injury would NOT get me down.

Thanks for the kind thoughts, gals. I've been lurking but not posting a lot.
But I haven't been sitting around, either. After my back injury, I put a lot more focus on my riding, and now am putting about 200 miles a week in both speed drills and climbing. I also spent several months building up my new bike, which rides like a dream.

I'm still signed up for my falls tris, but my 2008 goals are for the California KOM series. I appreciate your thoughtfulness and am following your progress.. even if I'm doing it quietly.

WOAH! That's a really sweet ride there lady! VERY NICE BIKE!

Yes, I had great run last year focusing on cycling. It was fun to ride 4-5 days a week. I miss those days sometimes. Unfortunately, I have run more these days... so I don't get to do the fun stuff.

Happy to hear you are doing good and that everything is going great!

Glad to hear you're doing better, Blue and it's nice to have you back (I've "seen" Wahine "up there" on some of the other topics every now and then- I think she's just avoiding us here ).

Not avoiding y'all. I just haven't had a lot to add lately. You ladies are doing great without me butting in on things. Besides, it gets pretty dull talking about yet another long bike ride and run. Really, I am so swamped with training and work, I have nothing else to talk about.

Well, not true. I'm having a very interesting family issue right now that I would love to get some feedback on but it would take a lot of time explaining the background and I don't have much to post. So until I get a magical hour to myself with the computer......I'll have to manage on my own.
