yeah... I like them. They are my guys. Feel the love!

Now my Cross Check is a 48t-36t-26t, and I was able to ride up Perkins from LFP and only had to get off and walk at the intersection of Perkins and 15th. So cool!

I took city streets to the LBS, and then rode the Burke-Gilman/Perkins/Meridian home. It was 1/2 hour faster to ride the city streets, but the Burke route was much MUCH less stressful!

And my triple made it much more do-able!

I love my triple with ultra low gears. I live in the middle of major hill-age.

And to think I was just at that shop. Me with my Campy Veloce double.

I'm happy for you though! And I will stop talking to myself about how a triple would make my life easier right about now....

I have 24/36/46 chainrings and a 13-34 cassette on my steel road bike.
You'd probably leave me in the dust on the hills anyway though.

Well me too! I bet your average speed is faster than mine....mine is a glacial 9.65mph. Can you beat that?

(it would be 10.5 if we didn;t live right at the top of this blasted honkin' big hill!)
