Very cool. Thanks for the review. I especially like the "puppy-belly soft" imagery.

Just got it, and immediately put it on. Didn't even take it off long enough to cut the tags off, kept it on while I did that! I'm wearing it right now. I might have to sleep in it. Then wear it to work in the morning. Yeah, that's it!![]()
Ok, back to business.
I bought a size L. In general I'm a L sized shirt in just about every brand, or a 12 Tall, or a 34C. The Terry L fits perfectly. The shelf bra is adequate, but certainly not supportive enough for me to wear running.
The fabric is silky and puppy-belly soft.
The length is simply a joy for tall long-torso'd me. It actually COVERS me, overlaps my waistband, and doesn't ride up no matter how I bend or squirm. (it's very hard for me to find tanks long enough) I can see that this length would be great to wear on a bike.
The high neck is also very nice, and looks quite dramatic contrasted with the skinny straps (which still manage to be supportive) and the very exposed shoulders.
The armpits fabric (I'm sure there's a better description) comes up nice and high and covers and contains everything you'd want covered and contained. No extra boob-flesh hanging out over the edge and flappin' in the breeze!
Even though this tank shows a lot of upper shoulder/neck/back (more than anything else I own) I feel MORE modest and very comfortable because what it does cover it covers securely and elegantly.
The zippered back pocket is too cool for words. Placed perfectly where it's almost unnoticable when empty and just doesn't get in the way when full. I put some stuff in it, no problem with my wallet and cell phone. If I hadn't eaten all my Lara Bars and Clif Bloks I'd've tried putting one of each of them in the pocket with the wallet and phone. (My feeling is that three things would have fit fine, four would've fit but been bulky.)
Made in the USA (when so few things are these days, it's a pleasant surprise to find something that is). Very sexy. Very functional. Very comfortable.
(c'mon, order one... you know you want to...)

Wow, Knot, you just about had me talked into it (I am in the process of trying to choose the perfect new sleeveless jersey for my Shasta Summit Century coming up!)...

Well, ummm, not to send business away from TE.... but Terry has several colors and prints.

That is a nice one, very classy. I considered it before deciding on the screaming red halter. That's not what they call it, that's what I call it.
Anyway, if I ever get a job I may be getting that one too![]()

I have 2. Love them....
BTW, it was recommended to get a size up from your usual, since they are Euro-fit. I didn't for the first one. It's tight, but looks great. For the second one, I went up a size. It seemed a bit loose at first, but after washing it's OK. It's a bit longer and the elastic band in the shelf bra is a little more "relaxed" feeling.
Maybe if someone wants the prints, they could encourage SusanO to carry colors?
TE sells the Eurohalter (black only) for $5 less than Terry's site (all colors). I wanted black, so that worked out perfectly for me. (not sure I'd wear any of the wild prints, cuz I'm so refined and subdued, dontcha know...![]()
)
BTW, I didn't sleep in the Eurohalter, but I think I will wear it to work today under a jacket.

This looks like a great halter - thanks for the review, Knott! I can definitely see wearing the black one off-bike, or for mountain biking, but it's not visible enough for road riding. The wilder colors on the Terry site are much better for being seen on the road. Interesting that TE can offer it for less $ than Terry. Would be nice if TE offered all the colors/patterns!

Great reveiw Knott. TE does have a print - it's listed as a separate item.
I'm only an A cup but I dislike the shelf bras. I stumbled across a LG tank that has an actual bra in it on TE and treated myself and I love it! It's gone now but here's one with the same bra style in it:

I actually feel like I have a chest when I wear this - no smashing anything which is uncomfortable to me in high heat and humidity.

I tried on the Eurohalter and thought, another item on my want list. A very modest halter for this older girl to wear. Covers all my beauty marks and was slimming on my pudges.
I have the Eurohalter in the Yitro print--that one is available here at TE. I love it. Well, I loved it after I figured out exactly how low to pull it on my way round belly to keep it from rolling upward while on the bike. (Apple shapes can be problematic like that for seated sports.)
Thanks for the review! I've looked at this at Terry and TE before and I think it's very pretty... but I wish it had open pockets instead of the zip.
