Hi, I'm a 36D, and have done 8 triathlons, 4 sprint, 4 international distance. When I first started, I was baffled about what to do with my generous chest. I didn't know about these forums, but I found TE, and wrote to Susan Otcenas. She found a post in the triathlon section about this very issue, and forwarded it to me! I still do what they suggested:
I wear a SRS bra. I has no snaps, no hardware. It is very tight, so getting it on and off is a battle. But once it's on, my chest stays put. If it's a pool swim, I wear the bra and a Sugoi tri suit. If it's a lake swim, I wear the bra, tri shorts (with a thin chamois for biking, and you can run in them), and a short legged, sleeveless wet suit. In transition, I take off the wet suit, pull on a biking/running top, and off I go.
For swim training, I wear a Speedo suit I got a few years ago that has soft cups. It works fine for swimming, but I sure wouldn't ride or run in it!![]()
If you haven't already discovered it, scroll on down and find the triathlon board! And welcome to the fun, wild, wooly world of tri-ing!![]()
Run like a dachshund! Ride like a superhero! Swim like a three-legged cat!
