Mirrors!?!

I have a helmet mirror and now that I've finally figured out exactly how it needs to be adjusted, I love it. It's a Third Eye mirror and it's supposed to be mounted on the inside of the helmet. However, I've got it mounted on the outside because when I put it on the inside, it was poking me in the head! I used black electical tape (tacky, yes...but it matches my HOT black helmet!) to keep it in the right spot. I would not ride without it! But I think it took me almost 2 months to get it adjusted right and to get used to it.

I love my Third Eye mirror too, but yes helmet mirrors take a few weeks to adjust too. But I would suggest to you that electrical tape may not hold well enough to keep it in place- it stretches too much and doesn't stick too well. Once you have the mirror right where you want it, why not put a dot of epoxy to keep it firmly glued on the helmet?

The bike shop today suggested that one that goes on the end of the handlebar, the Mirrocyle. (?) I was looking for a link to it online, but that must not be the correct spelling.

He said it was the most stable and you could adjust the angle and tighten it up and it would stay.
