hey, guys, we live in Seattle. It really is cooler and beautiful here. Seward Park is a tiny peninsula sticking into Lake Washington, which is over 1000 feet deep.
we wore long sleeves on the ride and never got too warm.

That is wonderful, Mimi. How brave of the kid to ask, and what a great idea, to get him back into it with a tandem. You have some potential for great service work there, I think! It takes a big heart and loving patience.

What a perfect way to get him back on a bike! How nice of you guys to help with his "rehabilitation"! I think many times all it takes it getting over that initial fear. He looks very happy and proud.
Next thing you know, I bet you'll be posting a picture of him on his own bike!
