I run because I'm training for a Half Ironman and I'm scared to death that I won't be able to finish strong if I don't get all the miles in that my coach tells me to!
I have learned that I simply must keep my miles up, or I pay dearly with lower leg pain when I up my miles again. So, no matter what happens, I DO NOT MISS my MILES RUNNING.
So far this week I got in 4 miles on the treadmill last night (won't stop raining in Texas). Tomorrow I have a 8 mile run, 3 miles on Fri and then a tri on Sunday with a 5K.
