My miles for this year are 892 as of June 30th but added 100 yesterday, to bad it wasn't it time.
I was doing ok until I took up the swimming and running too in June, and boy have they cut into my cycling miles. I used to never run, I mean I hated it so much because it always seemed so hard. Back on the 1st of June I had to jog almost a half mile or risk being embarressed. I made it the whole way and then realized that I can run. So now I do that as well. Not as fast as most people I meet but steady.
I'd like to have 2500-3000 by the end of the year. My proudest milage was yesterday I rode my third century but broke all the rules for riding a good century. Meaning the longest ride I have done this year is 34 miles, and the milage the month before was 37 more then yesterdays ride. And a few other things I'll mention in another thread about what not to do or how not to do a century.
