I bought Hubby, son and myself Banana guards. I haven't had any problems getting bananas to fit. Sure makes it nice stuffing it in my pack and not having to worry about mush all over everything. They have them at wallbike and at bananaguard.com Pretty colors too.

    Pretty colors

lol....well, there are many other items with pretty colors , but you can't put a banana in them. lol

The title to this thread a bit questionable..... Hubby brings home new toys!

First thought, new bikes? and second thought, wow....this forum is OPEN ...Yesterday threads about the keeper and the diva...Today, new pretty colored banana toys.

Sorry ladies....I am rolling on the floor laughing my a** off all from an innocent banana guard to keep it from getting it mushy in your bag, has opted to join the dark side (of my mind).

    Hate to Brag...

but my hubby brings stuff home all the time...and he even gets up earlier than me and starts my coffee, makes it, then brings it up to me. I get my coffee in bed every morning!! AAAAHHHHH!!! AND he is my personal mechanic! I am training my son to be like his Daddy.

Okay, I want to know what wonderful things you do for him to get this lovely treatment - I sure would like my tea in bed!

When I first saw the banana guard, I thought, well why not just switch to a less smooshable fruit? But I guess bananas are the potassium powerhouses of the fruit world and need to be guarded from harm!

ALSO Ladies for the record... I am not always prone to the dark side as it may have seemed earlier in this thread with the banana guard comments. lil bit of fun..lol Though I think I thought more then I added here.
Ditto on the quote, Though I pamper him a bit more, sometimes my DH starts up hot baths for me, and I do for him.
He is doing alot of the mechanic stuff but I am learning for myself for road repair reasons so I get in there and try to do some. He brings home more things for cycling, I almost have to monitor him cause he is worse then I am when it comes to spending and shopping....go figure?!
The coffee thing...who ever starts it usually serves it, but not usually in bed, but sometimes at work. Agree on the training for sure...I am also training my two boys to be like Daddy too, because we need more men like this in the world!

Ditto on my husband. I can't stand it when women sit around and complain about men in general. How would we like it if men were sitting around saying " All women are..." My husband spends more than me on cycling stuff and always buys me things when he is ordering on line, without me knowing. We have a "bike shop" in our basement and he does all the mechanics. Mostly this started when my son was racing, and it saved us tons of $. But now, he really enjoys it and says he will do this when he retires. I am a mechanical dunce, so it's a good thing.
My sons are 20 and 22 and I know they benefited from seeing equality in action as they were growing up. Last year my older son had his first real relationship and he told me that we were "good role models," especially after all of the couples we were friends with when he was little recently divorced.
