I just totally degreased the chain and everything that touches it, and switched to White Lightning. Tell me that I'm not going to be sorry please!!

You won't be sorry you take such good care of your bike!

Lube choice really depends on the conditions you ride. I used White Lightning when I was riding in the midwest, and it worked great there in the sand and thunderstorms and baking heat.

Here at home (Seattle) I use Boeshield, which is lovely in our chilly damp and drizzly squelchy fine-particle-and-biomass muddy environment.

    Enjoy your clean drivetrain!

DH and I have used White Lightning from day one, have close to 12,000 miles on our bikes, and couldn't be happier with the way the product performs.

We try to lube/clean the chains after every second or third ride, definitely after every long one. Pretty much a preventive thing for us, as we definitely don't have to ride in the sort of dusty, dirty conditions that some forum members do.

The trick to using White Lightning and similar products is to remember that you can't remove too much after application, i.e., don't be afraid to take it off!

The guys at our LBS swear by White Lightning. I hope it works for you!
