Well that's very cool. Good luck to both of you.

Awesome ladies!! How did you get 3,000 in 6 months? Do you have a lot of the time during the week? I have a goal of approximately 2,000 more miles this year. My guess is we will achieve it by continuing to ride 100 miles in a weekend and sneaking in weekday rides until the time change. I wish we had a better plan though.![]()

You don't have to be great to get started, but you do have to get started to be great. -Lee J. Colan
Ama, I run my own business and am able to ride in the mornings. In fact, when I schedule my week, I work everything around my cycling. I find I am a happier camper that way. My miles get done early, if I have to stay late to help a client, no problem. I am not pressured to get home and cram a ride in. Cycling is cheaper than therapy and it is an important part of my life.

there's my journal.
I too have my own business and I must confess not as much gets done when it's nice outside. I'm a silversmith and my workshop gets HOT in the hot weather. But that's really a part time job. I've got two teenagers and help care for my in-laws. Although I'm not always working, I am always on call to help or be available for emergencies.
I try to plan for most of my riding to be during the week so that I'm not away on my bike on the weekends since Mr. is only home on the weekends. And it's especially nice now that he's riding too.
