Wow East Hill I applaud you and your hubby! I thought about doing the Tour de Pierce but I am a weeny when it comes to rain! And man did it rain yesterday. You two are awsome! And I hope those boy scouts (at least that one you saw finish) get their merit badges. They deserve it after a ride like that. In the rain and for 50 miles!

LOVE that grin on your hubby's face!

Do you think we'll be getting nice weather any time soon? My hubby always says, "You know it doesn't get nice and warm until after the Fourth of July!" Let's hope so this year! The weather has been wet and chilly lately!

Thanks for the pictures and the telling of your adventure yesterday! I enjoyed reading it.

    Weeny,

    Sue

All I can tell you is that the STP is held the third week of July because that is the statistically least likely time to rain here .

Having said that, yesterday turned out to be rather warm. It started off cold enough in the morning that I was quite comfortable wearing my tights the entire 26 + mile ride, though.

I think I bring rain to rides, though. When we went to the Bike Around the Buttes in April, it rained then as well...
